How is the lamp mounted?

The lamp attaches magnetically to the included adhesive metal plate. Apply the plate to a clean, dry, flat surface suitable for adhesive. Check the surface finish before mounting.

Can I keep it on instead of using the sensor?

Yes. The switch has motion-sensing, always-on and off positions. Select the mode that suits the location.

Do I need to remove the mounting plate to charge it?

No. Detach the magnetic lamp from the plate and recharge it by USB-C. The plate can stay in place.
